NORMAL BUSES

Supporters travelling from Manchester city centre can use buses 181 or 182 which depart from Stand F on Lever Street. These buses stop right outside the ground at the top end of St. Mary’s Road.
Click here to download the 181/182 bus timetable

METROLINK

The nearest tram stop is Newton Heath and Moston on the Victoria to Rochdale line. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk up to the ground, or you can catch the FREE shuttle bus which departs from the Railway Pub opposite the Metrolink station.

TRAINS

Trains run between Manchester Victoria and Moston Train Station departing at 26 minutes past the hour arriving at Moston at 33 minutes past the hour. The ground is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Moston Train Station. Trains return to Manchester every hour at 03 minutes past the hour.

BY CAR

From Central Manchester
From central Manchester head out of town on the A62 Oldham Road until the junction with Monsall Road. Turn left and pass Central Park Metrolink on your left and take the next right at the roundabout and follow the road ahead straight across another roundabout which takes you onto Lightbowne Road. Follow the road for around half a mile and you will see Broadhurst Park on your right hand side.

From the M60 – Clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the north and west, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 20, then turn onto the A664. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A6104. Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 4th exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

From the M60 - Anti-clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the south and east, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 22, then straight on to Hollinwood Avenue, the A6104 . Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 1st exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

CAR PARKING

We would urge supporters to use the car parks we have available for a charge of £5.00 at the ground and for £3.00 at the nearby St Mathews School, only 3 minutes’ walk from the ground.

We are under a duty to ensure areas such as St Mary’s Road and the north of Nuthurst Road are not used by visitors to Broadhurst Park.

Supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

- St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road; including Teddington Road, Merridale Road, Worthington Street and Tymm Street.

- Nuthurst Road;

- the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.

We can always use more volunteers to act as traffic marshals and indeed for a number of matchday functions, so if you can help, send an email to John Davies johndavies@fc-utd.co.uk or telephone the office on 0161 769 2005 and leave a phone number for him to contact you to discuss.

Enjoy the game.

Both clubs are managerless with Tommy Wright quitting the Boro on October 20th and Karl Marginson departing on October 24th.
Nuneaton Town and Boston United are the only teams who have failed to win away in National League North
In 2008 Nuneaton Borough went into liquidation and were reformed as Nuneaton Town, being demoted two divisions by the FA from Conference North to Southern League Division One.
The two clubs shared 14 goals in 3 meetings in 2016-17.
Centre back and caretaker manager Jon Ashton made 7 Premier League appearances for Leicester City in 2001-02 including an 0-1 defeat to Manchester United in April 2002.
Leading scorer Ashley Chambers made his League Cup debut for Leicester City against Blackpool in 2005 aged 15, becoming the club’s youngest ever debutant.
The 1-5 defeat at home to the Boro in December 2016 was FCUM’s heaviest FA Trophy loss.
FCUM have conceded 73% of their 37 goals in 2017-18 in the final 30 minutes.
