HEREFORD FC v FC UNITED OF MANCHESTER Match arrangements

'On Saturday 24 November we travel back to the Edgar Street Athletic Ground, to play Hereford FC in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying.

Although we lost our first match under Reno last Saturday, we more than held our own and on another day would have had a draw.

The FA Trophy gives us an opportunity with the right slice of luck, to go for more silverware and if we get a decent run pick up much needed prize money.

Having won comfortably at Edgar Street (Hereford HR4 9JU) a fortnight ago in the league, we will travel confident of making progress.

Admission is by cash payment at the turnstile which opens at 2pm with the game kicking off at 3pm.

FC fans have again been allocated Block E of the Len Weston Stand and the terrace underneath.

Prices are Seats - £15 Adult, £14 Concession, £8 16-18, £1 Under 16

Terrace - £13 Adult, £12 Concession, £7 16-18, £1 Under 16 Free to Under 5s

FC fans are welcome to use the bars around the ground.

We have been specifically requested by Hereford FC to make it clear that any wheelchair FC supporters MUST contact Hereford FC direct and in advance to ensure a space in the Disabled Supporters area, or alternatively contact the Hereford disabled Supporters Group on the below link

FCUM’s best FA Trophy run was 2014-15 when they negotiated 6 rounds before losing 0-1 at National League Torquay United in the Quarter Finals. The 1-5 defeat at home to Nuneaton Town in December 2016 is their heaviest in 34 FA Trophy ties.
It is 46 years since non-league Hereford United beat top-flight Newcastle United 2-1 in an FA Cup 3rd Round tie at Edgar Street.
FCUM have been knocked 5 times at the first hurdle in the FA Trophy in 11 campaigns including each of the last three seasons.
The last time FCUM won 6 away games in a row was between March-April 2014 when the sequence was 7; Droylsden, Stocksbridge PS, Skelmersdale United, Witton Albion, Blyth Spartans, Stamford and Barwell.
Last player to score for FCUM in 4 successive games was Jason Gilchrist in Oct/Nov 2017 (Nuneaton Town/Stockport County/ Salford City/AFC Telford United/Alfreton Town)
