In the last encounter at Broadhurst Park in August 2017 Boston played the last 32 minutes with 9 men and lost 1-2.
At York Street in March the sides shared 8 goals, the third 4-4 draw in FCUM’s history.
Boston United played in League Two between 2002 and 2007. The Pilgrims lost Conference North play-offs to Guiseley in 2011, Chorley in 2015 and North Ferriby United in 2016.
FCUM have lost 6 of the 11 previous meetings, including 4 at home.
Striker Jonny Margetts scored against FCUM whilst on loan to Stockport County in a 2-1 win for the Reds at Edgeley Park in December 2015.
Midfielder Nathan Arnold was in the Cambridge United side that won the 2014 FA Trophy Final at Wenbley, beating Gosport Brough 4-0. In 2016 he was back at Wembley in the Grimsby Town side that won the National League play-off Final, beating Forest Green Rovers 3-1.
In 2017-18 FCUM lost all their first 3 games before drawing 3-3 at Southport. They gained 7 points from 7 games in August.
