The train back to Mcr Piccadilly after the game is from Newton for Hyde at 22:51 (last train). A similar distance away from Hyde Central from the ground. (Also one at 2151 but you'd have to miss the end of the match and pos pens.)

In 22 home games in League and Cup at Ewen Fields in 2017-18 the only visiting team to win was League One side MK Dons in the FA Cup in November.
This is the first competitive meeting. In August 2009 FCUM won a friendly at Ewen Fields 3-1 with goals from Phil Marsh, Danny Williams and Nathan D’Laryea (own goal). In July 2012 FCUM returned but lost 0-3. In August 2014 the Tigers lost 3-4 with Michael Norton (3) and Jerome Wright netting for the visitors. On their last visit in July 2015 Dave Birch scored in a 1-1 draw.
At this venue FCUM won 2-0 against New Mills (Mar 2006), 4-1 against Glossop North End (Aug 2006) and 5-1 against Abbey Hey (March 2007). As the home side the Reds won 4-0 against Nantwich Town in Oct 2009.
Manager Darren Kelly played for Derry City in the UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League between 2006-07. Kelly made 9 appearances for the Northern Ireland U-21 side between 2000-01.
Defender Tyrone Gay scored for Ossett Town against FCUM in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie at Ingfield in September 2016 in a 1-7 defeat. Gay was voted into the EvoStik North Team Of The Year in 2017.
Winger Sam Summerbee played in the FCUM FA Youth Cup team against Southport and Altrincham in September 2015.
Left Back Kyle Brownhill is the cousin of Liam, who scored 4 goals in 133 appearances for FCUM between 2013-16.
FCUM became the 24th club to win the Manchester Premier Cup competition since it began in 1934 as the Manchester FA County Shield. The Reds have scored 40 goals in 14 MPC ties.
