There'll be at least half a dozen of us looking for a cab after the game, Chris. Give Ray a call and we'll meet up before the game

£14?!
Is there a plan for a pre- (and post-) match pub-meet? I note the ground seems to be in the middle of nowhere, although there is a pub - Crow's Nest - about half a mile away.

The buses from Manchester go to the Rugby club bar which is next to the football ground. There is also a really good real ale pub next to the station. I might be on the same train as you but if not, we can meet here

The Crown Inn (on Bond St), presumably. See you there, if not on the 11.46 train.

In 2008 Nuneaton Borough went into liquidation and were reformed as Nuneaton Town, being demoted two divisions by the FA from Conference North to Southern League Division One.
The two clubs shared 14 goals in 3 meetings in 2016-17. FCUM won 4-1 at Liberty Way in their final away fixture of the season.
Centre back and manager Jon Ashton made 7 Premier League appearances for Leicester City in 2001-02 including a 0-1 defeat to Manchester United in April 2002.
Leading scorer Ashley Chambers made his League Cup debut for Leicester City against Blackpool in 2005 aged 15, becoming the club’s youngest ever debutant.
The 1-5 defeat at home to the Boro in December 2016 was FCUM’s heaviest FA Trophy loss.
The Reds have kept 1 clean sheet away in the League in 14 trips, the 2-0 win at York City in August. It is 159 days and 10 trips in National League North since that victory.

Anyone travelling from Manchesterto Nuneaton on the train, it's generally worth splitting tickets at Stafford, from there it's only £7.20 return on any direct train, any company. Only reason not to is if planning on going via Birmingham. You may be able to reduce further splitting at Crewe or Stoke but will restrict your route then - trains from both Crewe and Stoke go through Stafford to get to Nuneaton.

There's a newish micropub in Nuneaton, the Lord Hop. That, the Crown, the Wetherspoons and the Attleborough Arms, not far from the ground, are in the Good Beer Guide for 2018.
