Drinking arrangements

If you are heading to Blyth just for the match, but would like to partake in a few pre-match drinks, there are various options open to away supporters for pre-match entertainment
Blyth Spartans Social Club
Situated at Croft Park, the Social Club is welcoming to all fans and is popular haunt of the Spartans regulars before and after the match. The club has two large screen TVs and also boasts a pool table, table football, dart board and quiz machine.
The Masons Arms
Situated about 150 metres further up Plessey Road, the Masons is the most popular location – along with the Social Club – for pre-match and post-match drinks. The bar offers a friendly welcome to all visiting supporters and provides entertainment via a pool table, jukebox, dart board, etc. It also offers a wide selection of beers and lagers.
The Wallaw
Situated in the centre of Blyth in the renovated Wallaw Cinema, this Wetherspoons pub offers a wide selection of beers and lagers, hot food and an outdoor area.
Further afield
For those making a weekend of their trip to Blyth there are literally 100s of bars, pubs and clubs in nearby Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Newcastle that cater to all needs and requirements.

Team News:

Matty Hughes is available for selection after missing the last two matches through suspension.

Danny Wisdom trained all week and is available for selection.

Joel Logan is still out injured and has had a scan on his knee.

Sam Tattum who came on as substitute at Spennymoor and Salford home, has now joined Padiham on dual registration, in order to get some game time, after being out injured for a long period before joining FC in December.

FCUM won the first five previous meetings against Blyth before drawing and losing the last two.
Blyth Spartans have reached the first round proper of the FA Cup 31 times; the second round 14 times; the third round 4 times, the fourth and fifth rounds once.
Defender Michael Liddle made a first team appearance for Sunderland in an FA Cup tie against Barrow in January 2010.
Blyth are the only National League North side who have not drawn a League fixture in 2017-18. They have played 28 games in all competitions without a drawn game. North Ferriby’s only win of the season came at Croft Park in August.
After 25 League games FCUM have 32 points, one more than at this stage in 2016-17 and three more than in 2015-16.
FCUM have won all three previous visits to Croft Park.

If you didn’t get to the game those highlights bear no resemblance to the actual game. We had two great chances in the first half, one of them was pretty much a tap in, not sure why it wasn’t shown.
