Spennymoor won the FA Vase in 2013, beating Tunbridge Wells 2-1 at Wembley watched by 16,751 with goals from Gavin Cogdon and Keith Graydon. They travelled 432 miles to play a semi-final tie against Guernsey FC.
FCUM have yet to win their opening NLN home or away fixtures.
Moors Winger Adam Mitchell played for Sunderland in a Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in May 2013.
Striker Graeme Armstrong scored after 6 minutes for Whitby Town against FCUM at Gigg Lane in a 3-1 win in September 2013, and scored twice in their 3-2 win at the Turnbull Ground in January 2014.
Chris Chantler made 61 appearances and scored 2 goals for FCUM between 2016-17.

A very good game. Shame about some of the defending as I thought we showed some excellent moves. Not sure which game the sponsors were watching for the MOTM though.
