FC UNITED of MANCHESTER -v- BLYTH SPARTANS FC Match Arrangements

On Monday 22nd April FC United welcome Blyth Spartans to Broadhurst Park in our last home game of the season kick off 3.00 pm.

These match arrangements are written before the away game at Alfreton so it may very well be that this will not only be our last home game of the season, but probably our last home game in the National League North for the time being.

However, despite the awful season we have had, we must remember that this is our club, we have a wonderful stadium, and a great community set up. If we get things right on the pitch next season who knows what may happen. In any event we’re FC and we’ll be alright!!!

YOUTH UNITED DAY

This match had been designated as Youth United Day. This is something that we have promoted every year since our formation and is a crucial event in our community work.

It all kicks off at 12.00 noon with free activities for all under 18s who will also gain free admission to the match.

For more details click here

Admission to the game is by payment at the turnstiles which open at 1.30 pm.

Before the turnstiles open, fans can gain admission via the main reception on production of your match day or season ticket or by cash payment of the match admission price.

Admission prices are as follows

£12 Adults,
£7 Concessions
Under 18s FREE

BARS AND FOOD

There will be three bars open.

The Function room will be open before, during and after the match for the sale of hot food, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

The SMRE bar will be open for food, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks before and during the match.

The Cask Ale bar behind the main stand paddock will again be open for real ale before and during the match, and the Dry Bar opposite for food and non alcoholic beverages.

The chip cabin will also be open.

SEASON TICKETS

Season Tickets, Ten Match Ticket Books and Memberships for the 2019/20 season are now on sale.

Season tickets are vital to what sort of budget Reno will have next season regardless of where we finish.

If you have yet to buy you can do so at the Membership Stall which is situated to the left on entering the ground at the St. Mary’s Road turnstiles.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop is accessible at the front of the ground to the right of the Main Reception. It will be open before the game and for 15-20 minutes after the final whistle. Please note: There is no entry to the shop at half-time, however there maybe a Merchandise stall inside the ground between the corner of the SMRE and Main stand with a few items for sale during the game.

Inside the shop you will find the Home, Away & Third kits, plus all of our newer items! We also have an ‘End of Line’ SALE with these items having huge discounts until stocks last! All of the above plus more items are also available online from our club shop website or you can order by phone on 0161 769 2005 during office hours.

Danny Maguire is joint second top scorer in National League North with 20 goals, 3 behind Glen Taylor of Spennymoor Town.
This is the last chance to complete a home and away double, having won 3-0 at Croft Park in November.
Defender Michael Liddle made a first team appearance for Sunderland in an FA Cup tie against Barrow in January 2010.
Robbie Dale has scored 201 goals in 648 appearances for the Spartans since his debut in 2005. Dan Maguire has scored 144 goals in 242 games for Blyth.
7 different players scored in Blyth’s 8-1 win against Chester in August. Spartans are 1 point away from the play-off places.
Kurt Willoughby now has 20 goals in League and Cup in 2018-19.
Blyth are unbeaten away from home against all of the top 7, winning 2 and drawing 5.
It is 135 days since FCUM won their sole home game against Curzon Ashton in December.
