The Lions are the draw specialists in National League North with 14 in 29 fixtures.
In Guiseley’s first visit in January 2009 at Gigg Lane, Jerome Wright became the first player to score for and against FCUM in the same game.
Last Saturday Dale Whitham became the 25th player to legitimately score for and against FCUM, some 7 years after scoring the first of his 3 goals for Chorley against the Reds.
Lions defender Cliff Mayo made his international debut for Zimbabwe in May 2018.
Both sides lost in the play-offs for 4 successive seasons between 2011 and 2014. Guiseley were in Conference North at the time.
Stuart Rudd, Phil Marsh, Joel Logan, Liam Dickinson and Michael Potts have played for both clubs, and the Yorkshire outfit also featured England International Frank Worthington.
