Travelling Supporters Ground Directions:

At Junction 56, continue forward on to the A1(M). Leave the A1(M) at Junction 60, then at the roundabout take the first exit on to the A689.
At Rushyford roundabout, take the third exit on to the A167.
At roundabout, take the third exit and continue on A167.
At Thinford roundabout, take the first exit on to the A688.
At roundabout, take the first exit and continue on the A688.
At roundabout, take the third exit on to St Andrews Lane.

At mini-roundabout, take second exit on to King Street,
At mini-roundabout, take second exit on to King Street/Durham Road. Bear right on to Durham Road and take third exit on left on to Wood Vue.

Nearest Bus Station: Durham Bus Station is in Durham town centre and the No.6 bus takes you to Durham Road, Spennymoor, in around 15 minutes.

Car Parking

Supporters are strongly advised to use public transport or utilise car sharing and give themselves plenty of time for travel. Supporters are requested to respect the surrounding areas and show consideration to neighbouring residents. The local police teams may ticket cars that are illegally or inconsiderately parked. Durham Road and Wood Vue tend to be very congested on match days so we recommend away supporters use the main Car Parks in the town centre, which is a short walk from the ground. Parking is free. Don’t however use the Iceland / Home Bargains car park as you are liable to get a fine or clamped after a couple of hours. All spectators are advised to arrive at least half an hour before kick off to avoid potential congestion at the turnstiles in Wood Vue & Tees Crescent which will be open from 1:30pm for both sets of supporters.

Spennymoor Ground Information

Once inside the ground there are 226 seats available for supporters in the Ramside Hall Estates main stand. These seats are available on a first come first served basis, there will be no reservations on seats for supporters. The supporter’s marquee bar in the ground will be open from 1:30pm and is available to visiting supporters, it is located next to the main stand and whilst U18’s are welcome an adult member of their family accompanies them. Refreshment area facilities will also be open and available from 1:30pm,
Away coaches will drop supporters off at The Moors Tavern, which is open from 11am and then be sent away to park at the council offices at Green lane, Spennymoor, DL16 6JQ which is only one mile away for the coaches to drive.

The Moors Tavern is the club’s official clubhouse and is open to home and away supporters before and after the game (DL16 6QH) – just 80 metres from the Tees Crescent turnstile at The Brewery Field.

The Moors Tavern is a community pub in the heart of Spennymoor. It is affiliated with, Spennymoor Town FC, which makes it a perfect pre and post match destination for fans of the football club and visiting teams. Parking within Spennymoor whilst being free is at a premium, therefore located within a 10-minute walk of Brewery Field is Tudhoe Victory Club. We are prepared to offer free parking for comfortably up to 100 cars or 6-8 coaches on a ratio of (1 coach = 10 car) for visiting fans on the club’s
substantial car park.

All of the club’s facilities would be made available on arrival for travelling fans (toilets, bar, Live Sports) plus if requested (numbers in advance) pie and peas or a selection of sandwiches and Tea
and Coffee. A free packed lunch and non-alcoholic beverages would be made available to all coach drivers.

Evenwood Town were formed in 1931 and merged with Spennymoor United in 2005 to become Spennymoor Town.
Spennymoor won the FA Vase in 2013, beating Tunbridge Wells 2-1 at Wembley watched by 16,751 with goals from Gavin Cogdon and Keith Graydon. They travelled 432 miles to play a semi-final tie against Guernsey FC.
Striker David Foley scored twice when South Shields won the 2017 FA Vase Final 4-0 against Cleethorpes Town at Wembley.
Striker Graeme Armstrong scored after 6 minutes for Whitby Town against FCUM at Gigg Lane in a 3-1 win in September 2013, and scored twice in their 3-2 win at the Turnbull Ground in January 2014.
Chris Chantler made 61 appearances and scored 2 goals for FCUM between 2016-17.
