Reds manager John McDermott made a club record 754 appearances for Grimsby Town between 1987-2007.
Striker Craig Westcarr scored for Notts County against Premier League Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in an FA Cup win in January 2011 and also netted for Chesterfield against Swindon Town at Wembley in the 2012 Football League Trophy Final.
Striker Chris Sharp is the son of former Everton and Scotland forward Graeme Sharp.
The present Alfreton Town Football Club was formed in 1959 following the merger of Alfreton Miners Welfare and Alfreton United Football Clubs.
FCUM have 17 points from 17 games, the same as in 2016-17. They have now won 5 successive games at Broadhurst Park for the first time. This is the best sequence since winning 16 at home in a row at Bower Fold/Tameside Stadium between October 2014 and March 2015.
