AFC Telford United will host FC United of Manchester at home in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The fixture will be played at the New Bucks Head on Saturday 14th October 3pm KO.

Admission Prices are £10 Adults, £6 concessions, £3 students & U16s £1.

Should a replay be required the fixture will be played at Broadhurst Park on Tuesday 17th October 7.45pm KO

On Saturday 14th October ko 3pm, FC United travel to AFC Telford in the 4th and final qualifying round of the FA Cup - Admission is pay on the gate £10 Adults, £6 Concessions, £3 16-19 yr olds, £1 for u/12s.

Turnstiles

There will be segregation in place for this match. FC United supporters will need to access via cash turnstiles I & J in the Frank Nagington Stand which provides covered terraced accommodation for 1,200 fans. Seating is also available for away fans in block A of the West Stand

Disabled fans will enter through the Assisted Entrance gate (next to the Club Shop) and will pay the Concession Rate, with their carer admitted free of charge. Telford have a designated Carer’s Champion, who will be on hand for fans with disability that require any assistance.

Organisers of unofficial supporters transport should contact AFC Telford United on 01952 640064 to register details of their coach to obtain free coach parking.

Coaches to Telford

FC United are running two official supporters coaches to Saturday’s match. One will depart from Chorlton Street, and the other will depart from Braodhurst Park, Moston, picking up at TGI’s in Prestwich. Prices are £18 adults, £9 children.

Directions

The New Bucks Head is situated to the northwest of Telford in the Wellington area, and is easily accessible by road and rail. The stadium is well signposted from Junction 6 of the M54 (Wellington/Telford West).

Wellington(Shropshire) Train Station is approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the ground. Also Bus number 44, runs every 10mins from Telford Town Centre

Car Parking

Parking facilities comprise 290 spaces at the stadium (entrance via Haybridge Road) and some 500 at Telford College of Arts and Technology, which is situated on the opposite side of Haybridge Road. There is surveillance by stewards and CCTV. The fee is £3 per car.

Bars and Food

Refreshments are served on the concourses behind the Frank Nagington Stand where there are bars providing a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks. The concourses also have separate licensed bars for alcoholic drinks.

There are three pubs within 5 minutes walking distance of the ground: The Swan, The Cock and the Railway Inn.

Potential Replay

Should Saturday’s match end in a draw, the replay will take place on Wednesday 18th October ko 7.45pm at Broadhurst Park.

Our midweek fixtures are usually played on a Tuesday, but due to Man City playing at home next Tuesday, we cannot stage the match on that date, so the match will take place on Wednesday instead.

The Bucks lost all of their first 5 home League games in 2017-18, conceding 17 goals, but have won the last 4 at home in League and Cup.
Connor McCarthy scored the winner for the Bucks in the last meeting in October 2016.
In Telford’s last fixture against Boston United Centre back Shane Sutton scored for both sides in the first half.
Midfielder Henry Cowans is the son of former Aston Villa League and European Cup winner Gordon Cowans.
Left back Ryan Wilson is the son of former Chelsea and Northern Ireland striker Kevin Wilson.
Telford manager Rob Edwards made 8 Premier league appearances for Aston Villa and won 15 caps for Wales between 2003-06.
FCUM have lost both previous visits to the New Bucks Head and have finished with 10 men each time, losing Sam Madeley in Feb 2016 and Dale Johnson in October 2016. FCUM have not played anyone more than the Bucks (5 times) without a win.
The Reds have played 4 times in the Fourth Qualifying Round, winning twice (2010,2015) and losing twice (2009,2012).
