DIRECTIONS TO WITTON ALBION FC
Wincham Park is in the Wincham area of Northwich. The stadium is approximately 1½ miles
to the north of Northwich Town Centre but feels like about 5 walking there in the winter.

By Car
The Postcode for Wincham Park is CW9 6DA

From North/South/East
Leave the M6 at Junction 19 and take the A556 Chester Road towards Northwich.
After 3 miles get into the right-hand lane and filter off to the right at the ’triangle’ road
junction.
At the traffic lights go over to the left which is Manchester Road (still the A556) and after 1
mile turn right into the A559 Hall Lane.
After ½ mile turn left into Wincham Lane (the Black Greyhound Pub is on the opposite side of
the road).
After ½ mile Wincham Lane becomes Chapel Street, you will go over a hump backed bridge
over the canal and the turning into the stadium is on the left.

From the West
Use the M56 towards Manchester, leave at Junction 10 and use the A559 Hall Lane (following
the directions above). Alternatively use the A556 and the A530 via Griffith’s Road on to
Manchester Road (and again follow the directions above).

FCUM have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 3 of 7 previous meetings with Witton at Wincham Park including 1 home FA Trophy tie.
Charlie Ennis scored 1 goal in 5 appearances for Witton in the 2010-11 season.
At Hyde United in midweek Tunde Owolabi became the first FCUM player to score in 7 successive matches.
Only South Shields (10) and Radcliffe (11) have conceded fewer League goals than Witton’s tally of 14.
In the last meeting, an FA Cup tie in October 2018, the Reds ended the match with 8 men after 3 players received Red Cards.
In this fixture Kyle Wilson scored for FCUM after 14 seconds in October 2008 and Danny Andrews after 77 seconds for Witton in September 2015.
FCUM are unbeaten in their last 10 away fixtures, winning 7 and drawing 3 since losing at Grantham Town on August 17th.
